One of the most frequently asked questions at Ex’pression College is, “why the apostrophe?” Ex’pression College was founded by Dutch technology innovator Eckart Wintzen and the parent company which founded Ex’pression College is called Ex’tent. Literally translated, Ex’tent means Eckart’s shack. Eckart’s other green venture companies all similarly start with E and have an apostrophe in their name.

Although Ex’pression is certainly a good place to learn the tools required for artistic expressions, our name is based on something larger than individual expressions of creativity.
