Education: MA in Industrial Arts from San Francisco State University

Melody brings more than a decade of professional design experience to her teaching. She has worked in Web, print, fashion, book, and industrial design for clients including The White House, Hewlett-Packard, and local artists. Much of her creative inspiration comes from adventure. While not in front of the classroom, she can be found clinging to a cliff, zipping down a rope, jumping over a waterfall, or climbing a steep trail. She is currently leading a canyoneering and documentary film project.
