Becca originally comes to the Bay Area from Austin, Texas.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University and a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Trinity University.  Following graduation, Becca practiced school psychology in various public school districts throughout Texas, where her work involved direct assessment and intervention with children with special needs, professional development, and consultation with educators and parents.  Although Becca had the opportunity to work with a variety of children in different age ranges (K-12), her specialty was counseling high school students with emotional/behavioral challenges.

After moving to the Bay Area in 2004, Becca jumped at the opportunity to become a member of the Ex’pression team in the Sound, and eventually the Visual Arts Career Development Department. Combining her love of the arts, working with students and education, Becca is thrilled to be spending her days with such a collaborative and exciting team.

Becca’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, cooking, wine tasting and wakeboarding. Future goals include possibly returning to school to obtain a Doctorate in Psychology and learning to speak Japanese!
