Heidi Eden Goldstein claims that she’s known her whole life that she was going to be a librarian. Born in Far Rockaway, New York and raised in Hollywood, Florida, she considers herself a successful east coast transplant. Heidi is a lifelong voracious reader and photographer, who also paints, writes, sews, and draws. Heidi claims that she’s got a few books milling around in her brain…but we have yet to see the published proof.

Heidi graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 1994. She spent the next 6 years moving around and working in various bookstores. The lure of the Bay Area was too strong and by 1999 she moved out west. After establishing residency in California and settling in to the best weather and coolest people in the country, she decided to fulfill her destiny and acquire her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. Expression has provided her with her first paid librarian position.

While she does miss her family and friends still on the east coast, Heidi enjoys hanging out, chilling, and taking it easy. She spends much of her time with her friends (and their kids) and her dog, the delightful Ms. Wanda Pepper.
