A native of the state, born in a small town in the High Desert of California just east of the Sierra Nevada range, I graduated from the University of California at San Diego and then moved up to the Bay Area.

Before arriving at Ex’pression College I worked in the multimedia division of Macromedia’s Creative Services department. After a couple years at the company I decided to join the team at a new design studio in San Francisco, yellowduckdesign. Then after a couple solid years of employment, I was a casualty of the dot com burst and began working as an independent contractor for multimedia and the web. During these years I was heavily employed by yellowduckdesign, now Tuft + Co., and created projects for such entities as Adobe Systems, New Line Cinema, Time Warner Cable Business Class, Nortel Networks, AshtonAbeck, nCircle, Groove Eleven, Openspace.org, The 2M Group, Primedia, Left Brain Media, and CellStar.

In 2006, I began working part-time as a lab instructor for the LMW2 course. Using my Flash background to assist students here at Ex’pression College.
