Frank Monstrey, as Chief Investment Officer and Managing-Director of Extent (since January 2001) Frank has the overall responsibility for the management of Extent’s global investment portfolio. Frank has managed private equity holdings since 1993 through his own firm, Probel Capital Management sa, a Belgian fund management partnership. Until 1993 he was at Generale Bank (recently merged into Fortis Bank) where he assumed different responsibilities in corporate finance and investment banking with postings in Brussels, Istanbul and Shanghai. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial Economics from the University of Louvain and speaks Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish and Turkish.
