Andrew applies his experience in video editing, filmmaking, commercials, animation and video games to his career in education. He has taught Maya classes at Pixar Animation Studios, is a member of the Visual Effects Society, and is the co-author of Maya Visual Quickstart Guide published by Peachpit Press. Before joining Ex’pression, he taught at NYU School of Continuing Education and The Academy of Art University in San Francisco in both graduate and undergraduate classes. More recently he was the Cinematographer of an independent feature film that was broadcast on Canadian television and was accepted in the Montreal film festival. Andrew continues to make short films, industrials and music videos on the side.
