Gary Platt has a long history of professional activity in the fields of media education, and audio arts. Gary’s vision of excellence in a college for the digital arts found it’s fruition through his friend and Ex’pression founder, multi-millionaire Dutchman, Eckart Wintzen.

Having co-founded two other media education entities,: As President of The Recording Workshop in Ohio: and as Senior Vice President of Full Sail University in Florida, Gary improved the educational blueprint he helped develop to a new and higher level with Ex’pression College.

Mr. Platt has had a distinguished parallel career in the recording arts field, having worked with and attained numerous RIAA gold and platinum album awards for work with Adrian Belew, Bon Jovi, Prince, Cheap Trick, The Fushnickins, The Ohio Players, Bootsy Collins, New Edition, Shaq O’Neal, Bill Champlin, and many others.

Gary earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Ohio University. Athens Ohio in 1976, and his Masters In Business Administration (MBA) in 2007. Gary departed from Ex’pression in 2005 and is currently a business and education consultant. Mr. Platt develops artists, and mixes and masters music for CBS Television at his personal studio, Happy Note Studio, in Berkeley, California.
