Jennifer Hughes, originally from upstate New York, recently pursued her life-long goal of moving to the Bay Area. She graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing for Theater. Writing is one of Jennifer’s passions and she has had two productions which she wrote, cast, and directed.

As far back as she she can remember, Jennifer has loved both music and the arts and feels that Expression College is a mélange of creative energy, a musical hub, and place where people come to pursue a career they were born to do—what they love to do. She states, “the students, staff, and faculty at Expression speak one language that everyone can understand and it stems from a love for the arts”. 

Jennifer joins Expression’s Admissions team with prior college admissions experience from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Excelsior College, both in New York. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling at a local university.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking, traveling, camping, snowboarding, and relaxing at the beach.
