Matthew E. Jones is a Motion Graphics and Interactive Audio lab instructor for the Ex’pression College for Digital Arts as well as a Bay Area sound engineer specializing in live sound performances.

He has worked on projects big and small alongside various musicians, poets, artists, and geeks for over 10 years as a technical consultant and is a VJ & co-founder with the growing San Francisco performance series “Fantastic OptoSonic Projections”. He also works part-time for the environmental artist Ned Kahn, digital filmmaker & rigger Benjy Young,

Matthew is also a traditionally trained percussionist, performer of bass guitar, and all around sound synthesis sympathist, most notably with the music acts Space Ape, Steel Hotcakes, and A Low Cost Affordable Heating Plan.
