Born and raised in the Bay Area, Robbyn Kawaguchi became a member of the Expression family in 2002. She came to us with a B.A. from UC Davis and a Masters from Alliant University, and later went on to obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Before joining Expression, Robbyn worked in a variety of supportive and mental health settings, including schools, social service agencies, community clinics, and universities. She has been a case manager, Course Director, counselor, and therapist to a variety of individuals with a wide range of emotional difficulties. Over the years, Robbyn found her experiences with children and young adults to be the most rewarding. She is thankful that her current role as Student Advisor has allowed her to continue working with young people in a creative, challenging environment.

When she is not dispensing advice and emotional bandages, Robbyn enjoys pursuing art projects, spending time with friends, and of course, sampling good food.
