Digital Filmmaking camp

Have a BLAST making films! This course teaches students how to conceive, brainstorm, prepare for and produce a complete short fiction film or music video. Students will be taught how to write scripts, storyboard, cast actors, and scout locations. They then shoot their films/videos using our professional gear–both on location and on Ex’pression’s green screen stage. Students will then be taught how to use the Final Cut Pro editing system, along with Adobe After Effects, to edit and complete animation or special effects for their films. Finally, they will use Sound Track Pro to design sound and/or score their film (no musical skills required). All films will be viewed at the end of the week and students will be able to take home DVDs of their final films and their work created during Summer Camp.
