Class Notes

We are happy to profile the lively and spirited class 13 for the inaugural issue of Class Notes; stay tuned for future issues.
Class 13
Hope Dunlap is living and working in her home State, Michigan. She works with fellow Expression graduate Fran Sampier (class 11) at a video production company they founded. Filming local bands and weddings are the bread and butter accounts which allow them to work on their own creative projects. They are currently in production on independent film based on a local legend; a horror film with an original screenplay. Fran and Hope are planning to marry this summer and will take a trip back to California for their honeymoon.

Suzanne Elliott is currently an audio/video/webcast engineer at Grace Cathedral, building and testing Nearfield monitors at Barefoot. She continues to work on independent projects as a Producer/ Engineer.
Jennifer Fogelman is a designer at a local interactive company. She lives in Oakland with fellow Class 13 graduate Wade McConnell.
Drake Geramoni has his hands are full with children ages 7 and 10, and one more on the way. Out of school he was employed at the Concord Pavilion. He has multiple G5s at home where he works on video projects while also pursing some feats in the world of finance.
Josh Gold is currently employed at Ripe Sound where he has been in audio post for some time. You have probably seen and heard his projects; they range from commercials aired during the Super bowl to Disney feature films.

Peter Harding has been living in Los Angeles for the past 2 years. He is co-creator/owner of a small boutique video production company. The company specializes in creative media for bands; documentaries, epks, concert shoots and music videos. They recently completed a music video for Atlantic Records artist Jason Mrazs song Geek in the Pink. Other artists they have worked with include Jet, Rachael Yamagata, Eagles of Death Metal, OAR, Liz Phair, Ben Folds, Adam Richman, Sister Hazel, Lifehouse, Charlie Robison and Avril Lavigne.

Doug McIntyre returned home to Seattle after Expression and continued working as a DJ / Producer. Doug elected to not jump into a full-time audio related job right out of school so he could continue touring and earning a living making music as “DJ Dig-Dug”. He works part-time audio related jobs during the weekdays.
Rusty McMillan is living in Dublin and working as creative content manager at an internet company.
Nick Ngo Ngobility - Started a record company in school, Fingerbangerz Records. He is currently focusing heavily on sound engineering and production. He continues to do mastering jobs and just released his third break record last spring titled “Battle Scar Breaks. His also is a co-owner of a local studio which has enjoyed substantial success; he has even hired three Expression graduates. He also manages various artists, some of who have recently been acquired by major labels.

Bill Rudolph stayed in the Bay Area after school and is working in game audio. Now on his fifth game, he is employed at Stormfront Studios.
Jessica Sexton worked with Robin Raj at Collaborate Inc. immediately after Expression. She then moved on to EVB, working as a interactive designer for the last 2 years and recently started at Fine Design Group (

David Spilfogel has been battling one of lifes challenges and is home in Los Angeles with his family. He continues to work on his art.
Armando Tobringer is on tour with a local band doing live sound. He was taking a badly needed day off in Tahoe when we spoke, thus is the life of a FOH engineer!
