Ex’pression alumnus Roy Miles directed this video for Talib Kweli’s song Cold Rain. Roy enlisted the help of AVE program director Andrew Schlussel and course director Brian Andrews to create visual effects shots in this video.

Ex’pression College welcomes Andrew Dayton, who has worked on a number of films such as The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Toy Story 3, One Man Band, and Lifted, to the next Ex’pert Series.
Graduate opens VFX and animation studio
Animation & Visual Effects graduate, Roland Gauthier (Class 10), along with two colleagues, Michael Kuehn and Alex Tysowsky recently opened a full-service 3D animation and visual effects studio in Portland, Oregon.
Students work with Coraline animator
Justin Kohn (Coraline, James and the Giant Peach), along with cameraman Peter Williams (Coraline and others), brought their current project, a stop-motion film adapted from H. G. Wells War of the Worlds novel, to Ex’pression College to begin production on a trailer for the film.

Ex’pression animates for Joint Genome Institute
A collaboration between the DOE JGI and Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, this video shows how genomes sequenced at the JGI can help lead to the development of cellulosic biofuels to meet the need for alternative transportation fuel sources.

Sky Star Games, an independent entertainment software company located in Marin County, California, just released their first iPhone app.
World of color
Disney released a video showing how Pixar animation will be incorporated into the new show, which included a couple sneak peeks at late-night World of Color testing.

C4DTraining.com was started by Tim in June of 2009. Tim felt there were plenty of sites out there offering help with specific projects in Cinema 4D, but no sites offering a step-by-step guide to getting started with the program.
