Becky Worley recently utilized the green screen at Ex’pression College to produce a compositing effect that was used in her Angry Birds story for Good Morning America.

Two students from the Motion Graphics 2 class have won prizes in an online competition at Zooppa.com. They entered their work as part of their final project assignment, shooting a video for a Silk Soymilk contest titled “Better for You, Better for the Earth.”

Lydia Baillergeau created this piece in the Motion Graphics 2 class for an AT&T “Simplify Your Life” contest. She illustrated all of the assets in Adobe Illustrator and animated in After Effects.

“A beautiful and fascinating work containing inspirations coming from a distant literary and pictorial past. By using them, with no naturalistic but absolutely modern strokes, the author manages to reach a perfect communion with the natural world.”

Motion Graphics student, Beau Lewis, creates a commercial for his software client by spoofing Avatar and Eminem, the rapper.

For the shoot, we utilized the impressive green-screen studio at the well-known Bay Area art school Ex’pression College for the Digital Arts. They allowed access for the day, and provided us with lighting and several helping hands from the many budding motion graphics artists in their classes.

We’re proud to announce that our incredibly talented Motion Graphic Design students took top honors in 2 of 3 student categories at the annual Motion 09 Conference in Albuquerque, NM. Congratulations to everyone!
