Faculty focus: Tim Shetz
Ex’pression’s very own Tim Shetz, Course Director – Interactivity & Screen Design 2, Motion Graphic Design, is providing value and expertise to the world through a unique and informative Cinema 4D training website.
C4DTraining.com was started by Tim in June of 2009. Tim felt there were plenty of sites out there offering help with specific projects in Cinema 4D, but no sites offering a step-by-step guide to getting started with the program. Since launching C4DTraining in June, Tim has created more than 25 video tutorials helping the beginner get started with Cinema 4D. Along with the beginner tutorials, he has started offering more advanced topics, as well.
To promote his site, Tim posts updates to Twitter using “hash tags” related to Cinema 4D and 3D animation. In its first month, C4DTraining reached 3500 visitors, according to Google Analytics. Since that time, the site’s user base has grown to 7000 monthly visitors. People around the world view Tim’s tutorials including users in Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, France, China and Brazil.
