Every Ex’pression student takes the Common Core courses, beginning with Media Sound and Visual 1 & 2 (MSV) and Living in a Media World 1 & 2 (LMW).  The MSV sequence is an opportunity to work collaboratively with students from other programs while creating a short movie.  From writing an original script and creating storyboards to video editing and audio design, students rotate crew positions and are immersed in the complete production process from start to finish.  In the LMW sequence, students are taught to apply theoretical concepts to their own artistic development with a project that culminates in a non-fiction video podcast and website. 

Students complete their studies at E’xpression with the Professional Life Skills and Business of Media courses.  With topics ranging from business etiquette, networking and interviewing skills to copyright law and contracts, we prepare students for the myriad responsibilities and challenges they will face in their careers.
