Our Industry & Career Services (ICS) Department is responsible for providing our students and recent alumni with professional career building guidance. Our team of career advisors makes it a point to stay current with trends in the entertainment, technology, and design industries. Having a pulse on these industries ensures that our advisors provide the most accurate information about the industries we serve when speaking about things like job openings, demands, and skill sets. Our ICS team in Emeryville regularly plans events, like our ex’pert series, where our students have the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders and professionals, while also putting those networking skills to good use! Our management, faculty and ICS team attend various conferences and trade shows, and are affiliated with many industry organizations, including the Visual Effects Society, Recording Academy, and Audio Engineering Society. These connections, in addition to working closely with our program directors and Program Advisory Committees, all contribute to the ever-expanding list of extensive employer outreach that is conducted by the ICS team.
