Grammy-winning engineer Leslie Ann Jones (whose credits include Apocalypse Now, Dead Man Walking, video games God of War 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Infamous 2), will host a seminar on classical instrument recording techniques. The event will feature a discussion of the approach to classical music production she has developed as both a successful independent recordist and head of Skywalker Sound’s Recording & Scoring Department. This will be followed by a performance and recording of the Lowell Trio (piano, oboe and cello), where attendees will have the opportunity to compare the live experience to the recorded balance created by Ms. Jones.
