Sound Designer of Doom, Electronic Arts

Special guests from Electronic Arts award winning release “Dead Space”: Don Veca, Audio Director and Musician Dave Feise, Sound Designer of “Doom” and Ex’pression Alumni.

Don Veca is an audio director at Electronic Arts in Redwood City, CA. He has been working at EA since 1992, and at Apple for a few years before that. Don started doing game audio because he had a background in both audio (sound and music) and Computer Science. He started at EA as an audio tools programmer, but soon cross-faded into music and sound design. His first (and favorite) game as an audio director was Road Rash III (Sega Genesis), and his most recent game was Dead Space (XBox 360/PS3/PC). But all this is really just a hobby...he’s actually a Jazz bass player and drummer.
