Meyer Hall
Noted for their atmospheric sound, featuring grand guitars and pulsating rhythms, The Temper Trap performed an intimate set for students, faculty, and lucky Live 105 radio winners on Friday, March 12th in Meyer Hall.
The band hails from Melbourne, Australia and are touring the U.S. in support of their debut album Conditions, which they wrapped up with music producer Jim Abbiss in March 2009 in London, after recording the bulk of the album in Australia in 2008. The Temper Trap first garnered attention of the worldwide music industry after playing to sell-out crowds at the Musexpo in London in October 2008, and then at South by Southwest in March 2009. The BBC chose The Temper Trap on its top 15 Sound of 2009.
