On April 19th The Killarney Wind Ensemble, an ensemble of high school students from Canada, visited Expression on their tour to record in the SSL 9000 with SA Director John Scanlon and SA Advanced Recording Students Scott Weiser and Kory Doucette.
The ensemble consisted of 28 of the 42 band members and was directed by Bryan Knapp, Band Director and Head of Fine Arts for Killarney Secondary School in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Ensemble recorded multiple takes of four different pieces and then received a tour, and stereo recordings of their performance form our high school outreach team.
