Congratulations goes out to our Motion Graphic Design students who have been selected as finalists in the reelz@motion (professionals and students) and future@motion (students only) competitions for the motion09 Conference taking place in Albuquerque, New Mexico from October 11-14. First, second and third place winners will be announced at the conference.

The competition is broken down into two areas, reelz@motion and future@motion. For the reelz@motion competition professionals and students submitted motion graphic demo reels, while the future@motion is for students only and is further broken down into 2 categories, interstitials and bumpers.

First, in interstitials competition, students create interstitials that express the concept of the motion conference. No strict guidelines, just be creative. While in the second competition, the students will create the bumpers used to announce speakers and panels on the main stage at motion09.
