Expression College for Digital Arts and Game Audio Network Guild Team to offer two $10,000 Scholarships for Game Audio Studies

Game Developers Conference 2006, San Jose, CA (BOOTH #1628) –

March 23, 2006

Expression College for Digital Arts, a unique school located in the San Francisco Bay area that trains students for careers in entertainment technology, in conjunction with the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), a non-profit organization established to promote excellence in interactive audio, today announced two scholarships for G.A.N.G. members toward a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program for game audio studies.   A joint panel of Expression College faculty members and G.A.N.G. officers will select two candidates to receive these scholarships, and the winner will be announced in June at a G.A.N.G. convocation hosted at Expression College.

Scholarship opportunity essays will be accepted until May 15, 2006. 

Essay submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Responses to essay questions
  • Quality and integrity of submitted audio file
  • Financial need
