Ex’pression College for Digital Arts

EMERYVILLE, CA OCTOBER 18, 2010 Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, one of the premier schools of its kind in the United States, announced that Miwa Kozuki will join the College as Director of Marketing, effective today, October 18.
Ms. Kozuki comes to Ex’pression from the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles, where she held the Marketing Manager position since 2007. Additionally, Miwa held positions in the Education Department handling new program development, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on the many facets of higher education.
Prior to joining Ai, Miwa held marketing positions in consumer products (Healthier Solutions) as well as retail (The May Company), where she was responsible for PR and community relations as well as marketing communications and media strategy. She began her career at the venerable PR firm Hill & Knowlton in Los Angeles, where she worked on various CA Department of Public Health awareness and prevention campaigns.
Ms. Kozuki holds an MA in European Ethnology from the University of Lund in Sweden, and a BA in Germanic Studies, Ethnic Relations from Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated Cum Laude.

Founded in 1999 by the late (2008) Dutch entrepreneur Eckart Wintzen, Ex’pression is a unique, accredited, digital arts college. Ex’pression College for Digital Arts teaches and grants Bachelor’s Degrees in four programs: Sound Arts, Animation & Visual Effects, Motion Graphic Design, and Game Art & Design. Ex’pression utilizes a professional, accelerated program, and students live and learn in the culture of digital arts production for about 2.5 years. Class sizes are limited to ensure hands-on learning, instructor attention and access to gear and equipment. Students learn and work with professional-grade equipment and studios.
