The Game Audio Network Guild Announces New Partnership Program Focused on Growing Game Audio Community

The Game Audio Network Guild, a non-profit group dedicated to the advancement of interactive audio, today announced a new Partnership Program focused on growing the global Game Audio Community with beneficial professional development activities that occur year-round.  The G.A.N.G. Program Partnership Initiative strives to engage all levels of the Guild membership, from student to seasoned pro, through exclusive lecture series, panel discussions, best-practice symposiums, technology demonstrations, portfolio revues, curriculum origination and design consultation opportunities, and scholarship opportunities.  The Game Audio Network Guilds (G.A.N.G.) first program partner is Expression College for Digital Arts, a unique school located in the San Francisco Bay area that trains students for careers in entertainment technology.

The partnership with Expression College is a pioneering multipoint program that includes two $10,000 scholarships to be awarded by G.A.N.G. and delivered by Expression College for Digital Arts, and a lecture series to be held on the campus grounds.

“Our partnership with Expression College for Digital Arts advances our mission by providing scholarships and professional development opportunities to everyone involved in audio for interactive entertainment,” said Paul Lipson, Senior Director of G.A.N.G.  “We hope to expand our roster of Program Partners so that we can find new and exciting ways to advance the level of growth and output from the interactive audio community.  It’s exciting to be able to impact the growth and development of audio careers within the interactive entertainment industry in such a profound way.Ҕ

G.A.N.G.s ongoing commitment to the expansion and advancement of all areas of interactive audio is reflected in the establishment of this ground-breaking endeavor.  The partnership with Expression College will serve as a blueprint for other like-minded education institutions.

ғWe are excited and happy to be the first higher learning institution to partner with G.A.N.G. in this auspicious endeavor.  In this latest industry partnership we continue Expressions proud tradition of ґstanding on the shoulder of giants as we work with industry experts to continually innovate our curriculum and develop new opportunities for our graduates, Ҕ said Kirk Engel, Expression College CEO.
