Beginning Studio Recording camp

Experience the workflow of a professional recording studio as you lay your hands on the technology used to make contemporary musical recordings. Students will work with microphone selection and placement techniques on various instruments, record to Pro Tools, learn the fundamentals of analog console signal flow and outboard signal processing, and explore each phase of the recording process from capturing basic tracks to overdubbing and mixing. Participants will discover how to create an effective and inspired recording session through immersive training in one of our world class music production facilities. Note: There are two different schedules for this camp. Please select between the 8AM-3PM or 9AM-4PM camp.
