Expression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville is one of the largest recording and production facilities in California, but we are a school, rather than a commercial recording studio. We offer free studio time to musicians who are willing to participate in recording labs with our students. We are looking for anyone interested, from solo artists just starting out to seasoned touring professionals. We offer a variety of different packages, from a simple four-hour session resulting in a roughly mixed demo, to a full-on nine week album project. We offer 24 track analog recording in our SSL6K & Neve studios, as well as 24 track digital recording in our Heptagon and SLL9K studios. See the links below for more info:
